This is the 3 bay room over garage in our range of timber framed garages utilising our post and beam lock jointing system. All of these timber framed agares with a room above are made to order and made to measure, so we can make whatever garage you require. They are usually gabled ended to maximise the space in the room upstairs. Each model has the option for additional bays (use our quote request estimator form for any other size or shape that you require).

Roofing Material Options

What roofing material can Hortons post and beam timber frame garages take?

We get asked frequently which roofing materials are suitable for use with these garages, as most clients like to match roofing with their house or surrounding buildings. The answer is that they have been engineered to accept nearly all types including heavy clay and pan tiles.
What Roofing Materials do we offer? 
We currently offer cedar shingles (see image), Tapco slates, plain clay tiles and many others. However, If you have special requirements, please let us know and we can quote for a different option.
I want to supply my own
If you want to supply your own roofing material we would simply supply the roof carcass, leaving it ready for you to tile, felt and batten with a roofing material of your choice.
